I started off sugary, sweet and very saturated, now that I have lost all those qualities I'm left with something which starts to look a little more like me. It's a never-ending process of change.
Stick around?

Watermelon nails!!

As promised (on Instagram) here's a simple tutorial for cute and easy watermelon nails!

So step 1, is to prepare your nails.
Make sure they're nice and clean, also (if you haven't already) push your cuticles back with a cuticle softener.

Step 2, pick deep raspberry shade of pink (I'm using Essie's Peach Daiquiri).
Apply one or two thin coats, let it dry before moving to the next step!

Step 3, grab green nail varnish of your choice to create your watermelon rind (I've used Essie's Mojito Madness). Apply this on the edges of your nails, don't worry about not getting it perfectly straight and same on each nail (practice makes perfect).

Step 4, you can now paint your seeds in!
For this best would be black nail varnish (dark brown will do). Try to rotate your brush so you can create elongated oval shapes, rather than dots. The longer and smaller seeds the better! Be as random as you can be, just make sure not to pain on the green rind!

Step 5, clean up wherever you'd go out over the edges of the nail and finish of with a top coat!

You're done!
Let me know if you'd like to see more nail tutorials!
