I started off sugary, sweet and very saturated, now that I have lost all those qualities I'm left with something which starts to look a little more like me. It's a never-ending process of change.
Stick around?

Too Faced, Leopard Love Complexion Perfection Kit

Well hello! Yesterday unfortunately I wasn't able to upload the #maclipstickwednesday post on the day, which I'm really sorry about, but it will be up tomorrow! Of course you know my soft heart, I had to make it up for you lot! Long story short: here's a review of Leopard Love Complexion Perfection Kit, by Too Faced!

Name is very much self-explanatory it's a kit, which contains 3 shades of powder: bronzer, blush & highlighter all wrapped up in a pretty palette and leopard print! Pretty cute, eh? My first thoughts were: this is pretty damn convenient, little did I know that the bronzer is actually blush and highlighter is more of a.. well blush too.

Basically the ACTUAL bronzer aka "Peach Leopard" is more of a warm peachy blush with a slight hint of bronziness to it. I've tried using this as a contour, but it's wayyyy too warm for this purpose, but it's perfect for this "slightly burnt"/ "just been on a holiday" look!

The "Candy Leopard", which is very lovely indeed in my eyes is quite hard to work with not, because of the shade mostly, because of the texture. I wouldn't call it chalky, but you certainly need to work your brush in there and build the product up on your cheeks in order to get it to fairly visible level. Colour wise it's your standard Barbie pink blush with tone of shimmer! You could easily skip the highlighter when using this blush; it'll give you some very glowy cheeks! I think it's even a very close dupe to Dior Rose Diamond highlighting powder!

Top: Pink Leopard (Highlighter) Middle: Candy Leopard (Blush) Bottom: Peach Leopard (Bronzer)
Going right into the last shade "Pink Leopard" I think it's a brilliant highlighter, I just don't see why is it more pink/ brown than pearly or any other standard highlighter. I appreciate the innovativity, but the fact that it's so off the scale colour-wise makes it totally unsuitable to apply on the bridge of the nose, brow bone or cupids bow.

I feel as if Too Faced knew exactly what they did yet they choose to put people into confusion calling this palette "The Complexion Perfection Kit". You can't really perfect your face with 3 blushes can you?

On both of the images above I've used all the powders: Peach Leopard to contour, Candy Leopard for blush and Pink Leopard for highlight. It did a pretty good job, I have to say! Then again the contour should be less peachy more ashy, blush less chalky/ pearly more pigmented and highlight less pink/ brown more pearly.

I'm going to score this palette with 6 lemon points!

 Fantastic points:
Very convenient to travel with,
Great for all skin tones,
If you wouldn't be picky you can certainly do all your complexion steps just with this one palette,
Lovely packaging, comes with a fairly big mirror,
Peach and Pink Leopard have extremely mild powder, which goes on the skin like a dream,
Very easy to blend and work with.

 Not so great points:
It's £24,
Candy Leopard has a lot of "imperfections" (as previously mentioned),
You basically receive 3 blushes,
Impossible to work with without the brush.

Clearly, I have a love-hate relationship with this palette. One day I love it, one day I don't.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments below

Mac Lipstick Wednesday #21 Dramatic Encounter

Better late they never, they say. I'm so truly sorry for posting this so late, but hey it's still Wednesday so it counts right? The truth is "London madness" has got really crazy, I'm moving away in only one day. Please forgive me. ANYWAY. I have an exciting one for you today, but before you shout at me! Yes, I know it's a limited edition shade from last year (even worse), but I get emails from a lot of you who have no intention in purchasing a Mac lipstick, you just simply enjoy reading about them. Well this episode is for you! Let's talk dramatic then, shall we?

Unfortunately I can't get hold of Mac's original description of this shade to see whether it's anywhere near truth, because as we all know Mac likes to go a little bonkers with their descriptions. I'd say Dramatic Encounter is a slightly warmer cousin of Cyber, which you all know how much I adore. This particular shade is much richer in burgundy colour, and has that hint of mauve even. It's certainly an interesting one, because you could certainly keep applying it into almost black/burgundy, or leave it with 1 or 2 coats and let the light play with the colour. Under some light it might look more mauve, in other purple, then again burgundy. The glossy finish is certainly the one responsible for it!

left swatch: straight from the bullet right swatch: smudged
(same amount of product used in both of the swatches)

Personally I feel like every skin tone would look fabulous with this lipstick. The mauveness makes it that ever so slightly neutral. Whether you have really deep or fair skin tone, I think this would be a pretty good damn shade for you, if you're in the market for an unique alternative to burgundy. As I've said this one isn't available anymore, but you can get it on amazon! Or the closest to this shade would be Cyber.

Everyone likes a bold look! Well since the lipstick I was working with was quite unique, I couldn't go "regular" with the eyes! I went for this sleepy, coppery look on the eyes! Plenty of coppery-gold eyeshadow applied all around the eyes, with a little bit of darker brown at the upper lash line and some mascara. To add to the party I had to do my "staple" strong brows. To wrap everything up I added a little bit of flush, pink blush.

Dramatic Encounter has an amplified finish (which is my favourite). It has everything I love: pigment, glossiness, no shimmer and it's very long lasting! Stain - guaranteed! Amplified is a perfect finish for those of you who like glossy, not shimmery!

My giveaway is still open so be sure to take a look at that!! http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/maclipstickwednesday-giveaway-choose.html

Empties #7

More emptiessssssssssssssssss! This time I have a mixture of everything, so let's jump right in!

I'll start with the big bottle, because I'm a big girl! It's the big Wella Shampoo from their Color Preserve range. I bought this shampoo from TK MAXX and I've tried looking for it online, but I'm afraid it's impossible to get hold of. Overall it's a good product, it left my hair feeling soft and healthy. I would purchase it again, yes. It was a great value as well to get the big bottle, so if you see this in your local TK MAXX I'd give it a chance!

My only make-up emptie in this post is a product you would see me repurchasing in my last drugstore haul ( http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/drugstore-haul.html ). It's a Dream Lumi Touch Concealer by Maybelline, I've done a full blog post about this http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/maybelline-dream-lumi-touch.html ! It's cheap and cheerful, and does the job almost as good as YSL's Touche Éclat.

Next up we have a cleanser by Soap& Glory with a lovely name "Peaches and Clean". As much as I love it as a cleanser, I have to criticize the brand for advertising the product as "make-up melting". It has no make-up removing properties at all, so I'd advice using this purely as a cleanser. £8 http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory%E2%84%A2-Peaches-and-Clean%E2%84%A2-3-in-1-Wash-off-Deep-Purifying-Cleanser-200ml_1364166/

Last product, which wasn't a sample is the TRESemme Heat Defence Spray in a mini travel size. I've decided to give it a little go, just to try it out. It was okay, again no fireworks or any amazing results, but it didn't do any harm either. I think I'm still out on the hunt for a good heat protecting spray (share the recommendations with me in the comments section below).

I've decided to also include some of the samples I've been given when shopping at Clarins counter. First up is Multi-Active Night Cream, which I actually did really enjoy! Lovely texture, smelled nice, left my skin feeling smooth and soft in the morning. It has recovery, anti-ageing and brightening benefits, so I think we have a future repurchase here guys!
Another product is a very well known kind of highly moisturising face mask HydraQuench Cream Mask, which you just leave on. Origins make an amazing one, this one was okay, but not the kind of one I'd run and repurchase.
I've left the star of the show to last, it's the Black Orchid Facial Oil for dehydrated skin. I have normal to dry skin, but since all of the daily moisturisers are made to provide your skin with that kick of moisture, and not a lot are packed with hydration benefits I decided that this would be a great pick! I loved the sample so much that half way through it I literally ran in to buy the full size product! I can see the results already, my face looks brightened, fresh and feels amazing! For all of you with oily skin don't be afraid of the facial oils, Clarins makes one of those oils for oily skin too! All skin types benefit from those lovely, heavenly oils!

That's all I have for those empties, next instalment up in 3 weeks!

Mac Make-Up Haul & New Indulge Collection

Do you get a little "too" excited when new season comes? Oh, I certainly do. It instantly in my mind lights up a sign "Limited Edition Make-Up Collections", and what more exciting than that is there*?
*make-up related

Today I have a little special haul for you, which is going to be a mixture of some products from new Indulge Collection as well as from permanent collection. I've wrapped it all up in lovely candles, and flowers for you.. just so it all looks more, well more season appropriate I guess!

I'll begin with the little "bits" I've picked up from the permanent collection!
First (again) "inspired" by EssieButton, and her Top Mac Lipsticks video on YouTube I really wanted to take a look at some of the shades she considers as her favourite. She has mentioned colours like: Syrup, Plumful (which I already have), Crosswires and See Sheer. Swatching all of those I liked the last one the most, it was a sheer version of Crosswires, which I really liked. Always going for the darker and more pigmented shades, now I decided to have add some balance into my collection!

I'm obviously going to include this in my Mac Lipstick Wednesday so you'll be able to read more about it! Meanwhile here's what it looks like without a liner or a base on:

Moving along to the products I have a special place in my heart for - paint pots! Oh dear paint pots, how much I love you. If you'd like to see a full review on these click here: http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/mac-paintpots.html. This time I went for a gorgeous pinky silver shade called Vintage Selection and this hybrid between gold and coppery called Indianwood. I'm thrilled with how beautiful they both are.. and I'm afraid I will be buying many more!

Time to talk about the star of the show Indulge Collection! The whole collection has been inspired about senses, and all the intriguing colours our mind can create. I loved the uniqueness of the collection, as well as the oriental influences. There has been quite a few eyeshadows, lipsticks, cream blushes and nail varnishes.. With limited edition products I always look for uniqueness, and so 2 products caught my eye! A gorgeous green/yellow eyeshadow called Three Ring Yellow, which is a divine alternative to a champagne highlight for the inner corner of your eye!

Another product I couldn't walk by without picking it up was this gorgeous pinky, muted, nude lipstick with the slightest hint of lavender, with the delightful name of Feed the Senses. It's the most gorgeous lipstick I've ever seen in my life.. I think I might have to buy another one, because I love it so much!

Here's a little preview of the products from the limited edition in action!

I've used three ring yellow in the inner corner of my eyes and feed the senses  on my lips

Of course some swatches to wrap it up!

Here it is a little Friday treat for you! Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments section below!
And don't forget to take part in my giveaway!

Mac Lipstick Wednesday #20 Dubonnet

It's week 20 and we're celebrating! If you haven't seen already I'll be doing a giveaway so click here for more details: http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/maclipstickwednesday-giveaway-choose.html
Onto today's star - Dubonnet, a very unique yet classic shade.

Mac describes it as "Deepened Claret", which is a very fancy way of describing deep brick colour. It's not quite red, not quire burgundy, not quite cherry either, it's not more not less a brick colour. This shade I think would suit all skin tones, from the fairest to the deepest! It's a very unique and interesting shade, which I'm sure you would all get plenty of compliments on!

I very often reach for Dubonnet when I'm not quite sure what would I like to wear on my lips, it always seems to be the shade, which pulls my whole make-up together whatever it is! If you already have your standard red and regular burgundy, investing in a lovely brick colour would be just a perfect decision for the cold upcoming months! I would also consider Dubonnet as a very "special occasion" appropriate! It's not too dark, nor too light either. Very grown up shade, using which you could create some iconic looks!

To compliment this lovely shade I went for a dirty golden eyeshadow, which I've patted all over the lid adding a little bit of a taupe eyeshadow in the crease for definition, followed by flicked eyeliner and very defined brows! I've added some bronzer on the cheeks for this glowing look!

As always mentioning the finish is a must!  Dubonnet has an Amplified finish, which is by far my favourite! It's the creamiest, loveliest and easiest to work with (in my opinion). It's not quite matte, I'd say it has a hint of glossy finish, but it's hardly noticeable! You get so much pigment without the feeling of dryness or uncomfortable thickness. Absolutely lovelyyyy!

 And swatches of course!

August'13 Favourites

Every time I sit down to write my monthly favourites I feel like I'm closing a little chapter of my life and opening a new one. This time is different, because I'm not just closing a chapter, I'm concluding and officially saying au revoir to summer 2013! At the same time I'm saying a big, big hello to autumn, the month of big changes (http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/updates-on-me-more-leibster-awards.html)!  What a better way to end and begin things than with monthly favourites and hauls!
As always I'm going to categorise my favourites, so let's begin with the first one!

Make-Up &Nails

As last month, I'm so terrible at trying out new other things other than make-up.. so no nails this month :(
But there's plenty of products you might recognise from my Drug Store Haul (http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/drugstore-haul.html), ahh good old affordable make-up!

I think my most favourite product out of this whole section is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Concealer (wow that's a bloody mouthful, isn't it!). It's sooooooo good! I am definitely going to get around making a whole blog post just purely dedicated to this product, but for the time being I highly, highly recommend checking this out.. regardless of your skin type! This little baby will blend into your skin so seamlessly, however dark or light your dark circles are! £8.50
On the joint second place I have:
Mac Paint Pot in Let's Skate, it's so freaking gorgeous! I'd describe it as pale pink with the most beautiful light-reflective, gold particles! It bounces of the sun rays like nothing else in the world! If you'd like to read more about Paint Pots and see the swatches click here: http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/mac-paintpots.html £15
Benefit Watts Up, this was one of my birthday presents and I've been loving it since I got it! It's perfect for all skin tones, because this highlighter isn't quite pearly, but more of a champagne shade. Super flattering, and not chunky! Want to see my birthday haul? Click here: http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/birthday-week-day-6-birthday-goodies.html and/ or here http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/07/birthday-week-day-7-birthday-goodies.html £24.50
Jumping right to the rest of make-up favourites:
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Metallic Pomegranate, you all know I love cream eyeshadows, and you all know how much I love my red, burgundy, ox-blood eyeshadows? Well here's a drugstore answer for all my calls! Maybelline came up with this lovely rich burgundy colour with gold sparkles, which as you've probably gathered is right up my alley! £4.99
Soap&Glory SuperCat Felt-tip eyeliner. All kinds of eyeliners has been with me ever since I've started with make-up, and from all of those pots, tubes, pens, jars of eyeliners I've gone through I mostly enjoy using the felt-tip ones, by far! They're as black as it can get, quick to use, stay put for ages and are very cheap! The one by Soap&Glory is very brilliant indeed. I highly recommend switching to felt-tip liners for fuss-free and easy life!
Maybelline Rocket Volum' Mascara, another feature from my drugstore haul, and another Maybelline product! I've purchased this just for fun and games, no particular reason and I was very positively surprised! I definitely wouldn't say it's my favourite mascara, or the one I'd run to repurchase, but it doesn't clump, it lengthens and separates the lashes.. oh and no flaking! Pretty good if you ask me! £7.99
Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss. I wasn't quite sure whether include this in makeup or skin care category, because Baby Lips are quite of a hybrid between the two! Since Maybelline layers it out with all the rest of the make-up, that's where I'm including it! I went to Boots as soon as they came out in UK, purely to see whether they're really worth the hype, to be honest I don't think they are at all! They are really good quality, smell lovely and are cheap, but I wouldn't run a marathon for them. Peach Kiss was my favourite out of all the ones I bought, because it has a lovely fine shimmer to it, which I realllyyyyy enjoyed! If you're interested in a full review click here: http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/maybelline-baby-lips.html £2.99

Now just to close this category I have one make-up tool, which is a (fake cousin) of the all and famous Beauty Blender! I got mine from TK Maxx, and it's been my best friend ever since! Only thing I'd say is be careful with washing these, you need to be very gentle, and rub it too hard otherwise it'll start separating (I've learnt my lesson). Either way it's brilliant! Gives you the most flawless and beautiful finish ever! No more strokes and lines!

Skin & Hair Care

2 of those products have (again) been featured in my Drug Store Haul, see kids right research makes sure you'll love your products!
Noutrogena Multi-Defence Daily Moisturiser SPF 15, everything what claims to be able to protect me from all the evils of the world is a win-win for me! This has done the job brilliantly! I love the consistency, how quickly it absorbs, how soft it leaves my skin feeling, how great it is to apply before make-up and most of all how it's packed with a plethora of skin benefits!  £6.99
Botanics All Bright Eye Soothing Eye Make Up Remover, best eye make-up remover? I think so! It's ridiculously oily and greasy (obviously), but it melts the toughest make-up like no other, on top of that it moisturisers and doesn't break out in the slightest! It's gentle, and believe it or not after I use my cleanser my face doesn't feel oily in the slightest! So no nasty residue boys and girls. I feel as if people with oily skin wouldn't like it, so for those of you there's plenty of gentle of oil-free make-up removers, for all the others... this is your friend! £2.66
The Body Shop Honey &Oat 3 in 1 Scrub Mask
I've had this for so long, but never got around to using it for some reason. Probably, because I didn't thought it would be much good for any other reasons other than using it a face mask (despise of the name). Then eventually I've ran out of my cleanser and thought "right I'm going to have to use my last resort", and since that time this has became my favourite cleanser and a daily gentle scrub! Smells lovely, cleanses beautifully and I'm certainly going to repurchase this! £10
Into the star of the show Clarins Black Orchid Facial Oil for dehydrated skin. OH MY DAYS. This is the best purchase of my life time, I forgotten to feature it in my last monthly favourites, but if I could I'd feature it every month! It's just beautiful product, it does wonders to your face! There's 3 kinds, one for dry, oily and dehydrated skin. Now both dry and oily skin can be dehydrated at the same time. I have normal tor dry skin, but I've gone for the dehydrated version, because not many skin care products have hydrating instead of moisturising benefits. I use it every night on top of my night cream, my face looks healthy, happy and brightened! £30

Random

For this section I have a book (as always) and this time a film!
The book is called "Wreck This Journal" and it's the best alternative to a diary I've ever ever seen! Every page tells you to do something different with it e.g. loose this page and accept the loss, stain this page with the food you've ate today. It might sound odd, but I've had it for over a year and I take it with me on a random trips, and fill the pages up! It's so much fun! Make sure to date the page each time you fill it up! £10
Now the film isn't as much of the favourite as the soundtrack and the last scene! Accidental Husband is an adorable romantic comedy with a very interesting twist! If you're going to watch it be sure to pay attention to the soundtrack and the last scene!

This is it for August guys! What were your favourites? I'd love to find out, tell me in the comments below!

Mac Lipstick Wednesday #19 Cyber

By far this is the darkest and mysterious looking Mac lipsticks I own, Cyber itself.
I have a special place in my heart for this particular shade, I always seem to reach for it whenever I'm digging my inner (softer) goth.

Mac described their "dark creation" as Intense Blackish-Purple, surprisingly (?!) I couldn't agree more! It's literally dark grape colour in a lipstick form. In different lighting it looks either purple, burgundy or black even! Either way I feel like it has that cool undertone to it, which because of how dark it is isn't very noticeable.

Depending on your preferences really, I feel as if Cyber would best suit fair to medium and slightly deeper skin tones just, because of how much of a contrast it would make. If you have quite of a deep complexion, but you're still looking for this purple/ burgundy colour I'd recommend trying out Mac's Odyssey, Rebel, Amorous, Diva and Dark Side!

As I've mentioned before with Cyber you can't do much more than a bold lip look, certainly not a lipstick to be pairing with colourful eye-makeups. I chose liquid metal in surge by Illamasqua, which is really like having aluminium foil on your eyelids. It's perfect with Cyber! Just for that extra definition I've added a fine line of black eyeliner. I've kept the base flawless with a slight hint of peachy pink on the cheeks and a little bronzer to warm the perimeter of the face.

left swatch: straight from the bullet right swatch: smudged (same amount of product applied)

Not forgetting to mention the finish. Cyber is a satin finish what stands for a very creamy texture and a slightly glossy finish. Now this is a matte shade, with no shimmer and as much as of a pigmented colour it is the stain is strong, but not EXTREMELY strong. I'd recommend using this with a lip liner, for that perfect cupids bow!

Nars Foreplay Palette

Longley awaited review of Nars Foreplay Blush Palette, well I finally finally after 3 months made my mind about this.. and here's what I think. If you haven't seen my Space NK Haul be sure to click here: http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/make-up-haul-part-2-nk-space-online.html

I'm not going to lie, I was initially mostly attracted to the interesting design, and the idea of having 4 amazing Nars blushes in one palette. I loved the variety as well, because besides getting a big Orgasm blush there's also 2 satin blushed with no shimmer and a very unique golden highlighter. Those would be by far perfect for all skin tones, especially the two satin blushes which are extremely pigmented!

Here I'm wearing the hot pink blush with golden highlighter.

Here I have the peachy blush with the golden highlighter.

Lastly we have orgasm with golden highlighter.

I feel like it was a great value too! The whole palette retails for £39.50 when a single blush is £21.50, so you do get product, variety and convenient packaging for your money! You can get yours here: http://www.narscosmetics.co.uk/color/cheeks/blush/~/foreplay-orgasm
Lasting power-wise I feel most confident about the satin blushes, as they have the most creamy powdery texture so with these you have at least 8 hour wear. With the shimmery shares its 4 to 6.

I had time to think and I'm going to score this lovely palette with 7 lemon points!

 Great points:
Variety of finishes (satin, matte, shimmer),
Eye-catching packaging design,
High pigmentation (especially the two satin finishes),
Great to travel with,
Comparing to the prices of single blushes, it's quite a good value,
Fantastic for someone who hasn't tried many Nars blushes, or hasn't got many blushes in general,
Suitable for all skin tones.

 Not so amazing points:
I feel like the orgasm shade doesn't show up AS GOOD, I do have the multiple of orgasm and honestly the pigmentation doesn't even compare,
It's limited edition so it won't be up for a long time,
Lastly I wish the satin sections of the blushes would be bigger as those are the most pigmented ones.

 Overall I'd certainly recommend it!
Only think you need to be aware of is that the palette is actually much smaller than you think.

 Any thoughts? Leave them below!

Updates On Me + More Leibster Awards

I haven't posted  a little "update" on me in general in a while, since I have quite a few things to go trough with you guys I figured now would be the best time!

First of all I'm super sorry for posting a little less than usual, I have a big excuse! I'll be moving away to London in just less than 3 weeks, so it's been getting a little crazy with all the preparation and such. I'm moving away to study History of Art at one of London's top art universities, which I'm super thrilled about! If you see me posting a little on and off that's the reason why, so thank you for bearing with me! I have plenty of halls for you guys coming up in a next couple of weeks time. I'll be living on my own for the first time ever (!!), and I'm a little overwhelmed with the amount of pans, cups, plates, boards and cutlery I bought that I didn't even know existed. If you'd like to see a haul of those, please let me know. At the end of the day it is a mostly beauty blog, so coming up with a kitchen supplies haul would be a little random!

Number 2, due to a truly massive demand (which I totally did not expect) I am working on starting up a YouTube channel!! I really can't promise when is this going to happen, but what I can promise you is that any other quality than outstanding doesn't interest me. Until I'm fully equipped with fabulous filming camera, lights and fully thought through plan of my content, I'll be commuting to my blog. It will be running within next couple of months, thank you for all of those who are going to be supporting me in this journey!

Finally I have been tagged (again) by the lovely Karen (here's her post http://silvermachine78.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/leibster-award.html ), for the Leibster Awards! If you haven't seen my main post about those awards be sure to click here: http://clooudylemonade.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/liebster-award-share-love.html .
Since I've already tagged others, and done the main post now I decided just to thank to Karen for tagging me and answer her questions!

  Karen's questions:
1. How did you start blogging and why?
It's actually quite a funny story, because initially I've started my blog in November 2012, but I wouldn't post anything up until March. I don't think I was very to truly commit to doing this 100% at the beginning, and it took me 6 months to pull myself together and put my heart to it. I always wanted this "big sister" I could talk about make-up with and well "clooudylemonade" is my big sister, I really hope it's yours too!
2. The best thing you love about blogging?

The best thing by far is my readers response from my readers! I'm so overwhelmed guys, honestly. I've been getting so many lovely, emails & comments it really makes my heart grow bigger! I don't say this enough, but I'm really thankful for all of those who support me and my "big internet sister"!
3. What do you like most about the blogging community?

I adore that we all have something in common, even when the content we deliver is different at the end of the day we all enjoy sharing something with the world! Whether it's a review about a lipstick or a recipe of vegan cookies.
4. What’s your morning beauty routine?

Washing my teeth and cleansing my face! Until those two are ready I can't do literally anything.
5. What’s your favourite beauty product?

I wouldn't be surprised if my answers for this question would be different each time! So hard to decide, because when I make the effort to put make-up on my face I like to take my time and use as many products as I wish.. if I had to go for one it probably would go for the product I have the most of. LIPSTICK!
6. Describe your ideal holiday if money were no object?

Definitely India or Indonesia. I'm in love with those countries for their culture, colourfulness and traditions. It would be a dream for me to go there to volunteer in some kind of animal sanctuary. I hate those holidays where you just go to burn your skin in the sun, making myself useful is more up my alley.
7. Describe your favourite day out?

 Did someone say Selfridge's?
8. What is your favourite book?

I have two! Phantom of the Opera & Atonement.
9. What is your favourite childhood memory?

Certainly travelling. As a child I've travelled a tone, and been introduced to all of those different cultures. I have to say that this has definitely taught me a lot.
10. Which celebrity would you most like to share a cuppa and a slice of cake with?

I'm not a fan of "celebrities" at all, I don't read any of those magazines, which consist of sneaky pictures of popular people. I would certainly pick an artist? If he was alive I'd pick Vincent van Gogh or Frida Kahlo.
11. What is the best piece of advice you have been given?

This is actually a brilliant story. Last autumn I went to see Benjamin Francis Leftwich live in Manchester, and the support act for him was Joe Janiak. Both of lads went to talk to the crowd after their performances (which were amazing, I highly recommend checking them out), and so of course I was chatting to Ben and Joe a little. I can't really remember the conversation plot, but Joe said "the best things happen when you go out of your comfort zone". It's been almost a year and this advice has stood out for me like a neon sign! This would have to be the best advice I've ever been given, at least the one that stood out for me the most!

Here are all of the questions and answers! Thank you so much Karen for tagging me, and everyone be sure to take a look at her lovely blog: http://silvermachine78.blogspot.co.uk/

Since in we're in a chatty mood I'd like to thank you all for those 30.000 views! Every single one of them! It's unbelievable that I've gone so far since March! Massive thank you for all of you who subscribed, commented and been with me. As a little teaser I can say that I have a little giveaway coming up soon!

Love,
